Leading lines.
I prefer the second photo because I think its more in focus oppose to the first one.
Changing angles changes the focus.

Rule of Thirds

It was a very very very cold day....so I didn't go outside. I like the top photo better, simply because you can see her face better and the rule of thirds is shown better.

Self Timing

You might use self timing when your planning something and want to catch something. You might use self timing when you want to capture something in a steady manner.

this was taken next to the journalism room. it was on a very slim red thing, its impossible for someone to stand behind the camera!!

Framing

Not as successful as the second one, I wish I could see more in window. But its a start, its decent.

This is a little more successful then the top. Again it isn't as great as some of
the other framing photo's I've seen; but Im amateur im just trying.

I ranked this as the best because it just fits.
I like that you can see the tombstone, the tree, the bushes, and the sky. Her body fits perfectly.

I ranked this second because it does have a good background, everything is visible even the stop sign but I dont like the way her body fits the image. The pink thing to the right is a little off.

I ranked this last because you cant see much. People will assume it is a schoolbus (which is is) but this picture is doing much like the other two above.

Two pictures, top photo is portrait the bottom is landscape. Portrait mode is more defined. I decided to take these outside in that spot because I thought the scenery was good.
